Our story

Built from inside the industry, in Hyderabad

Finsutra began with a simple observation drawn from three decades in financial services: the businesses that struggle most with funding are rarely the weakest ones. They are the ones whose story has never been organised in the way a lender needs to read it.

We work with that gap. A business arrives with a requirement — capacity to add, an order to fund, cash locked in receivables, value sitting in property. We translate it into a defined funding requirement, look honestly at what the financials and documents support, and map the pathways realistically available.

Separately, our Professional Training practice helps teams, professionals and individuals understand banking, credit, insurance and financial literacy through structured programmes. Training engagements do not form part of our finance advisory process.

Finsutra is not a bank or an NBFC. Lending decisions, sanction and disbursement rest entirely with the relevant institution, subject to eligibility, documentation and applicable policies.

Two distinct practices

Choose the service you need

Business Finance and Professional Training have separate purposes, processes and enquiry paths.

Business Finance Division

Business finance

Helping businesses understand, prepare for and approach appropriate financing — MSME and business loans, working capital, property-backed finance and bank finance assistance.

Professional Training Division

Training & financial literacy

Training individuals, professionals and organisations across financial services, banking, insurance and financial literacy — delivered in plain language with practical examples.

Our approach

Finance is easier when the requirement is understood first.

Six stages, in the order they matter. None of them include a promise of approval.

  1. 01

    Understand

What the business is trying to do, and why finance is the answer.

  2. 02

    Assess

What the financials, filings and banking conduct actually show.

  3. 03

    Structure

Which form of finance fits the cash cycle and the requirement.

  4. 04

    Prepare

Documentation assembled, reconciled and ready for examination.

  5. 05

    Connect

Approach suitable institutions with a coherent proposal.

  6. 06

    Follow through

Stay with the queries, the clarifications and the next steps.

Why clients engage Finsutra

Six reasons businesses keep coming back

  • Experienced financial-services understanding

Three decades inside the industry, not adjacent to it.

  • Business-focused approach

The business position leads the conversation, not a product.

  • Clear documentation guidance

You know what is needed, why, and in what order.

  • Multiple finance pathways

Structures compared before anything is submitted.

  • Personalised support

One consistent point of contact through the process.

  • Long-term relationship

Support that continues past a single transaction.

How we work

From requirement to funding conversation

  1. 01

    Understand your requirement

A direct conversation about the purpose, the amount and the timing.

  2. 02

Review the business & financial position

Financials, filings, banking conduct and existing obligations.

  3. 03

    Identify suitable finance pathways

Which structures realistically fit — and which do not.

  4. 04

    Prepare & coordinate

Documentation readiness and coordination through the process.

  5. 05

    Move toward funding

Sanction and disbursement rest with the institution, subject to eligibility.
